Warum Steinhorn Gin? Naja, weil die Bros eben Steiner heißen, Einhörner jeder mag und sie toll sind! Johannes und Martin waren immer schon Gin-begeistert. Aber da das Leben zu kurz ist, um schlechten Gin zu trinken und am Hof der Eltern ein Kupferkessel herumstand, kam es zur Idee vom eigenen Wacholderbrand. Schon der Herr Urgroßvater aus Schlesien experimentierte in seiner Brennerei mit Kräutern aus dem eigenen Garten und produzierte eine Art Vorgänger des Steinhorn Gin. Seit 2017
produzieren die Steiner Bros ihren handcrafted Gin im 60-Liter-Kupferkessel. Der Großteil der Zutaten stammt vom Wagram und ein paar sind sogar aus dem eigenen Garten. Kräftige, aber unaufdringliche Wacholdernoten, zu denen sich Aromen von Zitronenmelisse gesellen, prägen den Charakter des Gins. Botanicals wie Rosmarin bringen Würze, Holunderbeere etwas fruchtiges und Süßholz Eleganz. Im Finish zeigt sich der Gin noch etwas pfeffrig.
